Independent Component 2

Literal
(a) I, Esther Solis, affirm that I have completed my independent component which represents more than 30 hours of work.

(b) I volunteered at Club Aspire where I do my service learning. I helped with the care of some of the kids that attend there. I also helped with some of the activities and outings that took place in the facility. I was able to get to know individuals and understand them at a deeper level.

Interpretive

I worked with the kids and got to know most of them and their own personalities. I learned a lot about some of their disorders and was able to help them out more than I could before. I volunteered for 40 hours Mondays and Fridays.

Applied
This helped me with my EQ because one of my answers is Being able to assess your patients at the start of your therapy session. With this I was able to get to know these kids and be able to notice how their attitude change and when, why it happens. I'm able to see in what mood their in now when they go to the dance/movement therapy session.
